This hotline has turned into a nightmare, our nightmare.  What if this person was calling in because of a grudge, or to seek revenge?  Did you know that divorcing couples often call in on the hotline on the other one to push the custody issue along to their side? One up.

• Think about this; If your neighbor knows that you are a foster parent and she/he thinks that you are responsible for bringing down the real estate prices in the neighborhood, if she calls in and reports you for doing something wrong, something that she has created then she gets rid of you and your foster home. Of course, she also knows that if it is a report involving physical or sexual abuse all of the children, are removed immediately.  Poof problem solved.
• Now let us discover what happens to a person who calls in a false allegation. I can answer that in one word, nothing, zip. 

So, for the sake of understanding, if the foster child picks up the phone accusing you of something so horrific there are no provisions in the law in any State, nope not even Arizona, as punishment for lying.  This liar goes free as a bird, while your left standing in the middle of a hurricane that has left your home in shambles, your house/family destroyed, with what was once your life.

Your life destroyed by a lie.  You are now in; financial ruin, standing alone, accused of "child abuse", while this person walks on through life.  What kind of a system teaches children that it is alright to lie?  Then does not offer any type of remedy to this situation?  What happens to a person who pulls a fire alarm when there is no fire? This is punishable but the destruction of a family is not?
