In the previous portions of this series we discussed what a nightmare this hotline has turned into. How it works, or doesn't work. The purpose is to give the callers a way of calling in to report suspected "child abuse", and we all want to protect our children, we realize this is needed. However we also realize there must be some accountability in this system.
- In defense of CPS, their job is to look out for children. Therefore, there is a chance that this child abuse is real, and if that is the case they must remove the child until they investigate.
- The problem all to often there seems to be a problem in defining the differences between "child abuse" and "good parenting skills", the result being a reason to keep the children.
Now you are asking yourself, but why would they want to keep children away from their parents?: Each child in the Foster Care System means monthly Federal/State funds and/or bonus's into the agencies pockets, a small portion of which goes to the foster parents. However, we will discuss that some other time.
- We are discovering a few things about Administrative Law and the hotline, of which you may not have been aware.

Everyone within the Foster Care System has legal representation, except the persons taking all the risks. The social workers have their States attorneys, or sometimes the agency attorney. The judge assigns each child that is assigned to his/her court as "wards of the court" an attorney.
How many of you have heard of the "Child Abuse Registry"? You thought this was for convicted criminals? Well, surprise....This registry is where your name can/will be placed if you are found substantiated, (substantiated here in Arizona), founded, or indicated. The same list that convicted child molesters, and/or pornographers are on.
