In part one we were exploring the "State Child Abuse Registry", let us continue with that subject.The quote we just read in part 1 was a quote of the "Declaration of Independence".

• This is a direct quote as taken from the Fifth Amendment of the United States Constitution“nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law”

Understand; if a foster parent is determined substantiated, founded, or indicated depending on what designation their State uses, their names can then be placed on the state Child Abuse Registry. This is without a trial, without due process, there has been no conviction of any kind; Hence, No Due Process.

How does this affect them? Most couples, one of the two are usually employed outside the home in whatever their career choices are; in example, one person is the primary foster caregiver. The other half of this couple happens to be a police officer. This police officers career is in danger. If placed on the Child Abuse Registry he/she will never be able to work in law enforcement again, this is a fact; not just in Arizona, but Nationwide.

Because these couples, in order to become licensed foster parents, their lives examined carefully, both have had in depth background checks, and licensed by the state of Arizona as caregivers. Therefore, whenever a future background check becomes necessary on behalf of any employer, they will find a listing on the registry that you are child abuser.

• This means , if you are applying for any position that deals with children in any capacity, they must complete a background check on all potential employees. Hence, the child abuse will show up on the background check. This is the case for nurses, aides, day care workers, those who are employed by a public school; whether it be principal, teachers, school nurses, bus drivers, or janitors, they work in and around children, their careers are over.

The most shocking in this travesty of justice, the same Child Abuse Registry convicted child molesters, pornographers are on. You see, the aforementioned individuals have had a trial, a conviction, and their DUE PROCESS, foster parents simply do not have due process;

Unless they have the money; for that “price tag Lady Justice wears on her sleeve”.

Foster parents on the “Registry” because they dared to reach out to a child who needed them.
