Obama forced to lobby congress for abortion rights

In a move that will shock no one who has been following the Obama administration closely, Senior White House Adviser David Axelrod told CNN that, "The president has said repeatedly, and he said in his speech to Congress, that he doesn't believe that this bill should change the status quo as it relates to the issue of abortion." Axelord reiterated the President's comments that "this shouldn't be a debate about abortion."

Really? This sounds a lot different from the President Obama who, on his September 9 address to the nation on health care, said "one more misunderstanding I want to clear up - under our plan, no federal dollars will be used to fund abortions."

Axelrod went further today by hinting that President Obama would team with organizations like Planned Parenthood and National Abortion Rights Action Leaguge - who were both furious over the Stupak-Pitts amendment - to ensure that Stupak-Pitts language is not in the bill that the President hopes to sign.

I have said over and over on Jay Sekulow Live that we just could not trust the statements by President Obama on abortion.  First, he promised Planned Parenthood that his health care plan would cover "reproductive" services. Next, he told the American people that no federal dollars would fund abortion under "our" plan. Now, the President and his team are joining forces with the world's largest abortion provider to make sure that your tax dollars, under whatever scheme Congress comes up with, fund elective abortion, what we call abortion on demand.

Politically, President Obama had to make this move, even though he has resisted it, because groups like Planned Parenthood, NARAL, and NOW are part of the reason he had such a successful campaign. He owes them.

The fight against government health care is far from over, the lines are just being re-drawn. Pro-abortion organizations have a new teammate, President Barack Obama.

I hope that the American people can now see that the President is lying. He says what will appease his audience at the moment then tells a different audience, later, what will make them happy.

Gods word says, If my people will humble themselves, pray & seek my face, I will forgive there sins and heal there land.

Let us also pray for our President, that the Lord God Almighty will touch him is such a way that he will turn form his wicked ways.

I new voting for Obama was the right thing to do! He's an intelligent and logical leader. The conservatives have been the first to scream and complain about the new health care bill "infringing on their right to privacy" and interfering with with patient-doctor relationship. Don't like the feeling that government is intruding in your personal lives? GOOD. Now you know how it feels to be a woman with an unplanned pregnancy who only wants to seek a safe, legal abortion. If you don't support abortion, or you think it's wrong, DON'T HAVE ONE. But DO NOT inflict your morals and values on people in whose shoes you have never walked.

I knew voting for Obama was the right and smart thing to do. He's an intelligent and logical leader, qualities that the wing-nut anti-choice sect lacks. The conservatives have been the first to scream and complain about the new health care bill "infringing on their right to privacy" and interfering in patient-doctor relationship.

Don't like the feeling that government is intruding in your personal lives? GOOD.

Now you know how it feels to be a woman with an unplanned pregnancy who only wants to seek a safe, legal abortion.

If you don't support abortion, or you think it's wrong, DO NOT HAVE ONE and DO NOT inflict or force your biased morals and values on people in whose shoes you have never walked.
