Daniel Nguyen-Phuoc was born in Houston to Vietnamese parents. At 3 years old, he moved to Jakarta, Indonesia. Until graduating from secondary school, he attended the British International School there, graduating from the International Baccalaureate program. He studied for a time at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, though finishing his bachelor's degree from Cesar Ritz Colleges in Switzerland. Daniel speaks English, German, French, Spanish, Indonesian and Vietnamese (at varying levels), and takes a particularly keen interest in international relations, building on his own international and multicultural experiences.
