One zucchini plant can give way to over 20 zucchini. They are wonderfully prolific and zucchini has grown abundantly this year. August 8th was "sneak zucchini on to your neighbor's porch" day. If you are lucky enough to grow zucchini, have stocked up on it from the markets or have been the recipient of zucchini, consider these recipes.

These zucchini recipes are best with the small to medium sized zucchini widely found at the Farmers Markets. Local zucchini is also sold at Kowalski's. If you have zucchini the size of a club consider the sausage-stuffed zucchini which uses zucchini as a boat. Or bake with it. Zucchini is so mild, it takes on the flavors that you use to cook. So combine it with garlic, onions, herbs and tomatoes and experiment.
