As previously reported on Examiner.com, the best time to dine out in Orange County is during Restaurant Week, which happens only a few times a year. Orange County Restaurant Week starts again on Sunday, September 26th and runs through Saturday, October 2nd, 2010. It's considered Orange County's most delicious dining event and you don't want to miss it! It's a great time to try new restaurants and visit old favorites at a discounted price. During this time many Orange County restaurants will offer special 'tasting menus' (aka prix fixe menus) for lunch and/or dinner to allow guests to try more food for less money.
Which restaurants will you visit this time? It may be tough to choose, since so many good ones throughout the county are participating. Be sure to check out the restaurant list and respective tasting menus here. And why limit yourself to just one, since the event lasts a full week?!
You may also want to join OC Foodies.com to stay on top of the latest restaurant and food news in Orange County. It's FREE and posts restaurant reviews, culinary event reports, dining deals, Chef Chat, Happy Hour specials, and helps one remain connected to everything delicious in the OC. It's an excellent resource for local food related information and networking.
To partake in the fruits of Orange County Restaurant Week, mark your calendar, review the participating restaurant list linked above, and make a plan to take pleasure in the tasty deals commencing next week. Enjoy!
