Slow Food Montreal is extending an invitation to the ‘Tradizioni to Puglia’ (Puglia’s Traditions) gastronomic event on March 18
th, 2010.
Guest chefs: Cinzia and Marika Rascazzo
Cinzia and Marika Rascazzo, founders of
Stile Meditteraneo, will be in Montreal at
Chez BU to help us discover the cuisine of their home region in Italy, Salento, situated in the south of Puglia. They will prepare typical, authentic dishes of Salento, the new tourist destination of Bell Paese.
Marika is a cardioligst and Cinzia is a Harvard graduate, wine sommelier and certified olive oil taster. After ten years in finance she returned to Salento and together with her sister Marika founded their blog,
Stile Medditeraneo and the
Stile Medditeraneo Cooking and Wine School. In their blog and cooking school they promote the local producers, culture and teach the traditional savoury cuisine of Salento using the Meditteranean diet guidelines.
