Several times a year, Schnepf Farms has a dinner ‘down in the orchard'. These dinners feature fine dining in the middle of their orchards. They have famous chefs from the Valley preparing meals that feature the best Schnepf Farms has to offer as well as all local organic foods.
There is a dinner scheduled on May 1, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. that is a tribute to Schnepf Farms peaches. Executive Chef Todd Sicolo of the Arizona Biltmore will be presenting a menu featuring peaches from Schnepf Farm. The menu includes:
Starters:
Peach gazpacho shooter,
Sugar crunch homemade biscuit
Salad:
Hand picked fresh peach salad with honey smoked almonds, spring time frisee and ruby raspberries
Choice of Entrée
Peach barbecued glazed pork tenderloin OR Halibut, served with compressed peaches, vanilla stewed grits and fresh thyme reduction
For dessert:
Chef Carrie's Homemade first crop peach pie with cinnamon whipped cream and Carmel drizzle
The cost of this very special dinner is $85 per person or 2 people for $150. The price includes wine, a four course gourmet meal, tax and gratuity.
