Salsa! Salsa! While there are plenty of good salsas in the world, there are only a handful of excellent ones. Local Denver company White Girl Salsa is one of them.
The delicious green tomatillo salsa, which comes in mild, hot, or cranberry-mango, was dubbed "White Girl Salsa" by close friends of the proprietor. As the story goes, she was a white girl (obviously) who befriended a traditional Hispanic family. On the first day she was invited to share her homemade salsa with their family, they loved it immensely and the nickname was born. If it stood up to their salsa and won over approval, it must be good!
The green salsa is spicy and oh-so-satisfying. The bottle even calls it a party in the mouth! The cranberry-mango is sweet and spicy and adds a little sass to all it is paired with.
