Love him or hate him, Chad Ochocinco is one of the most entertaining players in the NFL. From his endzone celebrations to his reality show on VH-1, Chad always seems to have his hand in something. Earlier this week, he made headlines when he was fined $25,000 for tweeting during a game. Now, he is back in the headlines for a nobler cause: OchocincO's. OchocincO's are PLB Sport's version of honey nut Cheerios. They will go on sale September 7th for $3.00 a box with a portion of the proceeds going to Feed the Children.
According to PLB Sport's president, Ty Ballou:
“Chad is a great personality, and with his involvement in social media and his interaction with the fans, he was an athlete that we were very excited to work with. One way or another, America has learned and is continuing to learn more about Chad Ochocinco off the field, and they’re finding out how great he is. Who wouldn’t want to share a breakfast table with him?”
PLB Sports is most known for bringing the world Flutie Flakes, but they offer an entire line of sports endorsed foods including breakfast cereals, beef jerky and condiments. Currently in their product roster are TO's, Steel City spicy brown mustard and Geronimo salsa. The company, located in Pittsburgh, is hoping to sell 100,000 boxes of OchocincO's. The cereal will be available on the internet and the Newport Kroger location beginning September 7th.

Glad it's Cheerios; we don't eat Wheaties.
