On Black Friday last weekend, the delicious cupcake bakery Sweet  launched their newest holiday inspired flavors. With locations in Back Bay and Harvard Square, along with the option for delivery, Sweet offers fresh baked goods to the Boston area that are seasonally inspired. The Sweet cupcakes are pleasant in appearance and taste, and would make a great treat for yourself or for gifts for friends and family. Right in time for the holidays, Sweet has gift cards for sale, with a minimum of $20 per card and offer special holiday inspired décor and packaging for their cupcakes.

Sweet's  cupcake menu for this winter features the Snowball cupcake, featuring coconut and vanilla. Also a Gingerbread, Candy Cane, and Butterscotch cupcake. They even have an Eggnog cupcake, with buttercream frosting sprinkled with nutmeg, served with a cookie "straw." Gingerbread
Traditional homemade gingerbread cake topped with classic whipped cream and Sweet's handcrafted gingerbread cookie on top.

Candy Cane
Peppermint buttercream frosting drizzled with chocolate and sprinkled with peppermint candy crumble, all atop delectable chocolate cake.

Chocolate Ganache
Sweet's delicious Belgian cocoa based chocolate cake finished with smooth, rich Callebaut chocolate ganache and finished with delicate chocolate curls or festive sprinkles of edible gold or silver leaf.

Snowball
Madagascar bourbon vanilla Sweet cake topped with coconut infused vanilla buttercream frosting and a blizzard of coconut flakes.

Black Forest
Homemade cherry preserves fill rich chocolate cake, topped with fresh whipped cream and finished with a chocolate covered cherry.

Butterscotch
Brown sugar and butter combine to infuse cake and frosting with rich butterscotch flavor. Topped with a "plaid" drizzle.

Chocolate Pomegranate
The sweet, tart flavor of pomegranate preserves inside delectable chocolate cake, chocolate buttercream on top and a splash of pomegranate syrup.

Chocolate Raspberry
Chocolate cake filled with fresh raspberry jam, rich chocolate buttercream and a fresh raspberry on top.

Chocolate Mint
Creamy mint buttercream swirled atop delectable chocolate cake finished with chocolate shavings.

Pumpkin Ginger
Sweet's autumn favorite is back for the holidays with a fresh ginger buttercream and crystalline sugar crumble.

Eggnog
Sweet's non alcoholic version of the classic holiday cocktail. Eggnog infused Sweet cake and buttercream frosting sprinkled with nutmeg and sporting its own cookie "straw."
