A cocktail party on the patio at Elway’s Cherry Creek, on Wednesday April 28th, 2010, kicks off the third year of Five at Five, a series of five chefs’ culinary events at five pm on five respective dates in Denver through the Summer 2010. Five™ is the branded name of Denver’s best and is the brainchild of Leigh Sullivan-Guard, Troy Guard’s wife.
Denver’s top chefs will team to cook and host at each of their respective premier restaurants. At Elway’s on Wednesday, Tyler Wiard leads the hosting group from his own kitchen. Denver’s Five™ will pass trays during cocktails; a nice touch allowing time to talk gourmet and get personal with the leading chefs.
The Five™ use this and regional venues to promote Colorado agriculture for dining and culinary scenes. A list of events in Colorado and beyond is available at DenverFive.com. Each chef chooses his own charity for a portion of the proceeds from FiveAtFive. Tickets for Elway’s personal venue are $50 including tax and gratuity. This venue will hold 100 guests. Three local leading vendors providing wine, whiskey, and liquor will be on site as part of the gala event.
