Part of what makes my secret garden so special to me is that my family and friends have gifted me with various garden ornaments.
This sign was a long ago Christmas gift from my neighbor friends, Lee and Darrell.
Darrell told me that when he spotted it in a gift shop, he said, "That has to be Colleen."
He's right. I'm with Monet: "I must have flowers, always, always."
I move this charming, handmade wooden sign around in my secret garden, placing it wherever flowers happen to be blooming--sort of like a blue ribbon or a crown.
Flowers inspired Monet, and Monet's flowers have inspired so many of us. Always. Always.
