Can a post note really change your life or the lives of other women? Yes!
After one year and thousands of notes, the site's official book, Operation Beautiful: Transforming the Way You See Yourself One Post-it Note at a Time, is being released on August 3!
According to the website: "Tired of watching women pick themselves apart in front of the mirror, blogger Caitlin Boyle scribbled a note on a Post-it: "YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!" and slapped it on the mirror of a public bathroom."
"With one small act, she kick-started a movement. In a matter of days, women were undertaking their own feats of resistance, posting uplifting notes on gym lockers, diet shakes in supermarkets, weight-loss guides in bookstores, and anywhere else a nagging voice of self-criticism might lurk."
Emboldening and contagious, the "operation" has attracted widespread attention from the media, including the Oprah Winfrey Network, The Today Show, The New York Daily News, and salon.com.
The book includes over 125 of the best notes ever received, as well as amazing, innovative tips on how to lead a more positive and healthy life. You can support Operation Beautiful and order your pre-sale copy today at Amazon, Barnes and Noble or Borders.
This movement is changing the way we see ourselves, one post note at a time.
Editors note: I have personally been able to see the start of this movement first hand as a faithful fellow blogger friend of Caitlin and watch it grow. I support her and receive her newsletter, however I am not being compensated in any way for this article.

We women are really too hard on ourselves, especially when it comes to our bodies. Taping kind, encouraging Post-It notes are a great suggestion for improving mood and self-image. Great tips!
