This year’s Mother’s Day Fitness Trend Setter goes to Clare Schexnyder, a founding mom of Oh Baby! Fitness.

Oh Baby! Fitness is an exercise program for new and expecting moms. Programs include individual classes for mom like Pilates, toning and water aerobics. They also, offer mom and baby fitness classes entailing a stroller workout and more!

Q. If you had one word to describe your mom, what would it be and why?
A. UNSTOPABLE. While overcoming post-partum depression, Clare launched a safe and fun fitness program that she knew would help her and also help build a supportive environment through exercise for other moms and moms-to-be in the early years of motherhood. She’s fostered a local approach and is getting ready to launch her fitness program nationally.

Q. What types of workouts or community duties does your mom balance with her schedule?

A. She is certified in prenatal and postnatal fitness, often leading exercise classes through a variety of programs including prenatal yoga, Pilates, water aerobics and more.

Q. My mom is an awesome fitness trend setter because...

A. She has brought together more than 7,000 moms and 2,000 babies through prenatal and postnatal fitness exercise, and she has created a nurturing and supportive community of women that may not have existed without her efforts.
