It seems like there's been more and more news lately that exercise alone isn't enough to lose weight. Nutrition and how you eat are important components of long term weight loss.
TotalTrainer just launched at Demo09 and is an automated system that customizes nutrition plans for clients.
It autogenerate meal plans for you week by week according to the food preferences you set (where you can specify food items you can't or won't eat) with meal replacement options. It also help you make healthy menu choices from 70 restaurants (with more to be added), has over 300 healthy recipes by celebrity fitness chef Laura Creavalle, and can send grocery lists to your smart phone.
TotalTrainer also offers fitness and nutrition logging. It has a library of over 500 exercises and workout routines. Like the BodyEvolver system, it also functions as a tool for trainers to keep in touch with clients, as well as body composition analysis and graphical fitness dashboards.
While some of its capabilities are also available online for free, the TotalTrainer system is meant to be used at gyms with the help of a fitness consultant who will do regular check ups with you and take body composition measurements.
