Big excitement in San Jose as the NCAA games were underway at the HP Pavilion - and plenty of great moments in the buzzer-beater of Murray State vs Vanderbilt on Thursday, March 18. (See pictures and video below)
Hoop Dreams CEO Larry Green writes a brief analysis for S J Fitness,
"I went to the Thursday afternoon games and saw the BUZZER beater with Vandy/Murray St. ...I chose Murray St to win that game (one of my "upset" picks). Statistically, they were the better team fitness-wise and my analysis played out perfectly.
"They were dominant on defense and rebounding and it kept them in control of the game. They had a few "stage-fright" moments at the end but they pulled it out with a terrific buzzer-beater play."
