Studies show an overwhelming increase in obesity in America. We owe it to ourselves and our children
to live healthy and fit lives. The 1st reason is "We don't want to die an early death". Most people
see overweight as being unfit, or unhealthy, which in a lot of cases may be true, however, in some cases
peoples metabolism works a little slower then others. For those of you who have a slow metabolism
there are many supplements as well as natural foods that can help you speed up your metabolism. Supplements such as vitamin B and multi-vitamins help boost your metabolism for instance. Foods such as bananas, potatoes, chili peppers and lentils all contain vitamin B. Also exercising regularly will boost your metabolism, walking for 30 minutes can burn 150-200 calories.
The 2nd reason you should work out for the year 2010 is because exercise has been known to reduce stress, which causes high blood pressure and you probably already know what's next. The heart can only take so much until it begins to deteriorate.
The 3rd reason you should work out is probably the most obvious of them all "to look better". Not just your physical appearance but your mental as well. We all know that exercising regularly can give you a healthy body but did you know it increases your brain strength as well? So the next time you go to run that mile or pick up those weights remember you're not just doing it for your body, because the body can only do what the mind commands.
The 4th reason you should work out, we all want to feel good about ourselves when we look in the mirror. Exercising comes with a lot of perks,but one of the best ones is self confidence. When you see yourself
looking good then for the most part others will see what you see and will respond. The truth is we all want to feel good about something, what better way to feel good then taking pride in your own achievement?
The 5th and final reason you should work out for the year 2010, due to the balance of nutrition and exercise there is no pill on the market that will get you to the levels of achieving your physical goals other then doing it manually. Most pills for weight lost have enough side effects to send your heart into cardiac arrest just reading them. When we think of losing weight, usually we want it to be a fast process. The good news is that it can be a fast process, but never fool yourself into thinking that it is an easy one, it will take hard work,dedication, and self determination to get through your 2010 work out but remember your body only does what the mind commands it to do.
