CA pros make their mark at 2010 Forrest Wood Cup: Kevin Hawk Cody Meyer & Brent Ehrler in top 10

The 2010 Forrest Wood Cup concluded its first day on Lake Lanier with 78 pro bass anglers angling for the lead in the prestigious competition and ultimately a $500 million payday. The 2010 Forrest Wood Cup concluded its first day on Lake Lanier with 78 pro bass anglers angling for the lead in the prestigious competition and ultimately a $500 thousand payday.

Three California Pro’s took spots in the top 10.

In 1st from Ramona, California, Kevin Hawk is keeping other anglers at bay with his 14-12, while Cody Meyer from Grass Valley found 4th only ounces from the leader bringing in his bag of 14-03.

Hailing from Redlands, California and trailing by a little more than 2 lbs Brent Ehrler ended in 9th with a bag of 12-09.

A previous cup winner in 2006, Ehrler has already racked up over a quarter million in earnings for 2010 and two FLW Championships this year on Table Rock Lake in March and Lake Ouachita in May.

Alpine, California angler, Rusty Salewaske brought in 11-08 to settle just out of the top ten.
