Ken Davy has been fishing all over the United States for over forty-five years. During his twenty years in the United States Air Force, he developed a knack of locating fish quickly without a boat during temporary duty at stations ranging from Biloxi, Mississippi and Bossier City, Louisiana to Laurel, Maryland. Ken prefers fishing what he calls underappreciated waters especially in urban areas. He grins at lines of rigs waiting at launch ramps as he walks by to fish secluded spots loaded with fish. If Ken writes about fishing someplace, you can rest assured that access is easy and you won't need anything but a rod, bait and maybe some cutoffs you can wade in. His usual targets are bass, trout and panfish but he has been known to catch walleyes, saugeyes, northern pike, striped bass and bonito. Ken's motto would be something akin to "Be opportunistic, be unusual and pass on the knowledge you gain." Contact Ken at: kendavy@yahoo.com.
