Michelle Obama has topped the “2009 International Best-Dressed List” released by Vanity Fair this Tuesday. While this marks the third year in a row for Michelle to hit the famed list, her husband, President Obama, made his debut this year.
Vanity Fair stated Michelle’s notable ensembles for this year were her inaugural gown, designed by Jason Wu, and her controversial black organza top, skirt and silk veil, worn when meeting Pope Benedict XVI. Michelle Obama has stated her favorite boutique is Ikram, located in Chicago, and her favorite shoe designers are Jimmy Choo, Puma, and Lanvin. Mrs. Obama’s favorite local bargain-hunting store is J. Crew, where she finds many of her signature wardrobe items, cardigan sweaters.

I definitely think Mrs. Obama deserved this title of best-fressed. I will admit she has made a few mistakes in her wardrobe this year, but overall she has a great style. Although, I don't understand why she was honored for what she wore to the Vatican; I thought that outfit was hideous. Great objective article, Kristen!
