The first family headed off to Martha’s Vineyard on Sunday morning for a weeklong vacation. The family boarded Air Force One in their chic island attire ready for some fun, recreation and rest. Michelle Obama was dressed in a flattering striped Sophie Theatllet dress, a recycled look from her trip to Ghana. She looked stunning, pairing this dress with her favorite metallic flats.
Mrs. Obama’s dress is perfect for slimming down any pear-shaped silhouette. The striped seam located at the narrowest part of the waist accentuates her curves, while the skirt highlights her long legs. This style makes the body appear longer and leaner.
Michelle Obama nailed this look, but unfortunately, there is no telling if the public will get a chance to see the styles Mrs. Obama has in store for her vacation, as the first family has asked the press to be respectful of their privacy during their time away.

Since Mrs. Obama is here as a private citizen & is not making any public appearances, she is entitled to her vacation wardrobe being whatever she likes, as long as she keeps decent & inline w/local rules. The President and first lady are entitled to their privacy. While I don't share her taste 100%; it's not my business what she wears as this this time.

I like michelle obama taste to be very fashionable, conservative, classy . She has a lot of class to me she dresses better than all the other first ladies we had . Now she is vacationing with her family she can wear whatever she wants as long as she is not naked. Peace you fox get a life

A wife that goes on vacation leaving her husband alone to celebrate his birthday without family either knows what he really needs or is very selfish of her own desires (or both?) Considering Mrs. Obama is the 1st Lady of the United States and has been spending money by the thousands on vacations (4 vacations in four months?) says enough... Who gives a crap what she wears to Martha's Vineyard? I hope local folks in Martha's Vineyard protest her being there!!
