First Lady Michelle Obama invited a bipartisan group of Cabinet and Senate members to the Family Dining Room of the White House this afternoon to discuss plans for her national campaign to fight childhood obesity. This discussion signified the first lady’s decision not to simply talk about this problem in America, but to take steps toward finding a solution. While Mrs. Obama has stated that her plan for action will include the revising of federal child nutrition programs, including school lunches, specifications of her plan to fight this problem will be released next week.
In this business meeting, Michelle dressed the part of a professional. She chose to wear her red herringbone Peter Soronen suit, from his Fall/Winter 2006 Collection.
