Award winning Seattle composer, Nan Avant scored the film, Unremembered, a feature length sci -fi mystery by Portland director Greg Kerr. Unremembered will have a West Coast Festival premier at the Eugene International Film Festival in Eugene Oregon on Oct. 11th and an East Coast premier at New Jersey Film Festival at Rutgers University Oct 25 and 30th.
The film has also screened at the Ireland International Film Festival and online in the Great Lakes Independent Film Festival in September. Unremembered won the award for “ Best Narrative Feature” at the Great Lakes Independent Film Festival, and an Award of Merit for original screenplay and leading actor (John: Tim Delaney) from the Indie Awards.
This is the first feature film for Nan. She told us, “When I first read the screenplay, I knew from the start it would be an exciting film to score. I enjoyed every minute of composing for this fim”.
Unremembered is described as “A sinuous and riveting independent feature film in the tradition of David Lynch” by the New Jersey Film Festival.
