I just experienced the bizarrest thing. I was leaving the Portland Cello Project when I heard a Bavarian style oompah band. I poked my head around the corner of the media room, and some 200 people were following a bearded Robin Hood style figure holding an enormous carrot.
His name is Jason Webley and he had just finished his one man accordion, guitar, piano and plastic vodka bottle full of coins show.
He led the crowd, by now 400 straight into the Seattle Centre's fountain still holding an enormous carrot.
By the way, the cello show was packed but I (obviously) got distracted. My photographer said they were great but the singing was unnecessary and the cellos got drowned out somehow.
