Sean McGowan, Founder of Denver Public Art University, is an activist for free art education. Sean intends to guarantee every child in Denver the right to a free art education by the end of 2010. Sean is also an activist for freedom from censorship, the right to free exchange of ideas, and the right to public exhibit. As Director of the Denver Art Society, his programs are funded by grassroots supporters, run by local communities, and administrated by local volunteers.
