A new comedy/drama called Castle, which was spotted filming in Brooklyn last June, will be debuting on March 9th at 10pm. The new ABC show stars Nathan Fillion (Desperate Housewives, Firefly) as a hugely successful murder mystery writer named Richard Castle with a case of writer's block. When a killer starts copying scenarios out of Castle's books, he teams up with NYPD detective Kate Beckett, played by Stana Katic, recently seen in the TNT movie The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice.
In a kind-of topsy-turvy Moonlighting scenario, their personalities clash, but they continue to work together anyway. The series films primarily in Los Angeles, but was spotted shooting on location at about half a dozen locations around Brooklyn and Manhattan last spring. It remains to be seen if hilarity ensues, and if the makers will be able to convincingly integrate a week's worth of location filming into an L.A.-shot show set on the streets of New York City.

Psyched to hear about this - thanks Amy for sharing!
Sounds like it might be interesting, but since ABC has canceled 4 shows I love so far this season, I'm kind of afraid to start watching!
