Will Farrell and Mark Wahlberg are teaming up as a couple of buddy cops in Columbia Pictures comedy film, "The Other Guys" and is set for release for August 6, 2010.
Shooting of the movie begins today and is being directed by Adam McKay ("Step Brothers" and "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby"). Also included in the cast, Samuel L. Jackson and former WWE wrestler Dewayne "The Rock" Johnson, as they will play a couple of elite cocky cops, whose exploits are the envy of the department.
Jackson just recently finished shooting his scenes as he will once again play Nick Fury in the anticipated sequel, "Ironman 2" due out in theaters in May 7, 2010 and Johnson has completed two features, the animated comedy-adventure "Planet 51", due out November 20, 2009 and the comedy-fantasy "The Tooth Fairy", due in theaters January 22, 2010.
