Harrisburg's Phil Davis makes it 2-0 in the UFC

Pennsylvania native Phil 'Mr. Wonderful' Davis  increased his record to 2-0 in the UFC and 6-0 overall, stopping fellow then unbeaten prospect Alexander Gustafsson in the first round.

Davis' wrestling proved to be the difference once again as the former Penn State wrestler controlled the fight completely.

The end came at 4.55 of the first round as Davis applied a fight ending Anaconda choke.

Next for Davis will no doubt be a sterner test, and if he keeps winning a spot on the main card isn't too far off.

Elsewhere on the card Frankie Edgar shocked BJ Penn, and just about everyone else as well, in winning the lightweight title. Despite the fact that most who watched scored the fight for Penn, Edgar took the decision on all three judges score cards.

Anderson Silva and Matt Hughes both picked up wins as expected. Hughes controlled Renzo Gracie on the way to a third round stoppage while Silva toyed with Demian Maia in something of a strange performance from the middleweight champion.
