Pemoja Penda, Swahili for one (community) love, is the rallying cry of the upcoming green Pemoja Penda Music and Arts Festival. All proceeds of the festival will benefit the Ugandan American Partnership Organization (UAPO).
Scheduled for Sunday, March 28th from 2:00 pm - 12:00 am, the festival will feature musical entertainment, a sustainable market, service activities, screenings of documentaries and feature films and a barefoot soccor tournament.

The festival is open to adults, 21-years of age and older. General admission tickets are $20.00 and are available at xorbia.com. The festival will take place at Park Tavern and Piedmont Park.
