The Helpful People area of the Bagua is located in the right front section of your home or room. This area represents guidance, insight and assistance on all levels, mental, physical, emotional and spiritual. Our guides can be friends, family members; business associates and mentors, someone in history whom we’ve found inspiring, spiritual counselors, animals and angels. Helpful People, guides, or mentors say or do something that moves your life forward in an astounding way - they are your Feng Shui circle of influence!

Guidance can come in any form. Sometimes it comes to you as a feeling, an intuitive sense, or a moment of synchronicity. We’ve all experienced a situation when we had a fleeting thought or impression that we should take one course of action and then later, upon reflection realized why we should have followed our feeling. And we’ve all had the experience of being in the right place at the right time.

For example: you’re driving home and take a different route than normal only to find out later that there was an accident on your normal route. Or you decide that you are going to change jobs and during lunch you overhear someone talking about a job opportunity they have and they are describing exactly what you are looking for. The form your guidance manifests in is far less important than your ability to recognize and act on the guidance given.

Right actions come out of the synergistic blending and use of our intuition and our intellect. Our lives are shaped by our actions. When synchronicity reigns in our lives people and places give us the inspiration and guidance we need.

1. Place a picture, statue or object in your Helpful People area that represents the energy of this area to you. (This is a great place to incorporate spiritual icons and symbols)
2. Incorporate one or several of the following colors; white, grey, black, gold or beige
3. Add objects made of metal or metallic accents
4. Healthy plant
5. Create a beautiful metal Helpful People box and fill it with an affirmation, pictures or names of the helpful people in your life or that you desire in your life, a crystal or stone that captures the essence of support and put it in a place of honor in the Helpful People area of your home.
