Opportunities to stay cool during the heat wave

In response to the heat here are ways for people to cool off. (Posted Date: 7/28/2009)

Wilsonville Library will remain open until 9:00pm Tuesday (7/28) and Wednesday (7/29) for cooling. No additional services will be available.

 

Water Features in Town Center Park and Murase Plaza will be left on until 9:00pm Tuesday through Thursday.

The Wilsonville Community Center is remaining cool and always a place for folks to spend the day - coffee, tea, water always available.

A few fans may be available on loan to needy families through the Community Center.

In Addition, the Clackamas County Energy Assistance Program has fans available for low income households free of charge.

People in need of a fan can call our energy assistance line at 503 650-5640. Spanish speakers can call 503 650-5766.
