According to WZZM.com, a local salon, Avantgarde de Salon and Spa West is handing out haircuts for those willing to donate their hair for a good cause.
Avantgarde is "hosting 'Clip it for Kids' today from now until 5pm. The salon is donating the hair to "help children suffering from hair loss."
The salon will also
hold an open house and fundraiser following the benefit. The free event will feature live music from "Natchez Trace", and food and drinks from Vitale's.
So, if you've been meaning to get a haircut, or just want to donate, get down to Avantgarde de Salon and Spa West and get it done for free.
This is also a great way to spend time with your children and teach them about charity work.
Remember this ends at 5pm this evening.
