Earlier this week we covered some great ways to stay cool, but rompers have really taken a stamp on the streets of Long Beach. What is a romper? A romper is a one piece that is loosely fitted with shorts/bloomers attached. A must have for the ending of the summer here in the Long Beach for the last of the heat.
Rompers were a thing for spring 2010, but recently “romper madness” started happening here in Long Beach since the heat is on and the nights stay warm. There are still a few stores like the newest fashion boutique, Bella Mia Fashion, that still have a few pieces to buy. Inside Bella Mia Fashion you will find dresses, casual wear and jewelry pieces that are designed by local jewelry and fashion designers. The feel of the store feels like you are in a real L.A. fashion showroom and you are the star. Keeping the romper around till the end of summer will catch the attention of the ladies that are still looking for that perfect outfit.
These one piece garments are amazing to have and easy to function in with your wardrobe’s accessories. You should wear your favorite bracelets, sandals and clutch bags for the perfect day wear into evening wear. If you’re going to wear jewelry either keep it simple with a solitaire diamond necklace with simple ear-rings or go all out and wear chunky over the top jewelry. Try keeping a light application of makeup and try accenting the face with mascara and lip gloss. Finally, wearing your hair in summer beach waves, that Christopher Murillo at House of Synergy Salon and Massage is suggesting, along with the romper will complete the look for the ending of summer 2010.
Summer may be coming to an end, but here in Long Beach the trends are always changing and they can be worn all year round. Please contact Bryan Vee for any questions or style needs at bRyanVeeBVE@gmail.com
