At the age of 17, Teonna started modeling part-time in local fashion shows for designers and department stores. After graduating college, she moved to the Washington, DC area where she began to do a lot more print work in the local fashion industry. In the Summer of 2008, she studied Image Consulting and a Historical Analysis of Great Designers at the Fashion Institute of Technology along with studying Fashion Journalism with Media Bistro. That's when Teonna began to capture her thoughts about fashion on paper. She started a blog at Teonna.net that is a fun mix of advice, fashion coverage, and personal entries.
