American Music Awards
The American Music Awards aired last night, and the timing could not be better. Viewers got to see stars in their most glamorously classic looks right before the official holiday season kicks off. Hopefully, inspiring people to take getting dressed for their holiday parties this year a bit more serious.
Guys like Jay-Z, 50 Cent, and Drake reminded us that a man always looks good in a great suit or tailored suiting separates. Clean lines and tailored cuts are perfect for the traditional office holiday party as well.
Female favorites like Alicia Keys and Carrie Underwood showed us a variety of glamour. Alicia Keys kept it spicy with sparkling ensemble that revealed a peak at her decollete. Carrie Underwood took a cue from ancient Grecian looks and performed in a jumpsuit with fabric draping around her small hips.
The overall attitude at the American Music Awards was glamour and self-indulgence, two things that this country may need a little more of, coming off of a global recession.
