Fashion took center stage for Chris in the early 2000's when he began meeting Portland's surprisingly diverse and sophisticated cadre of fashion designers. In 2006 he co-founded PFW Productions and saw the potential for Portland Fashion Week to occupy an exemplary niche: to stage unprecedented numbers of eco-fashion designers on the runway and make PFW the first comprehensively green and sustainable production of a fashion week. Today PFW attracts designers and labels from around the world, giving Chris a unique and diverse look into the eco and indie-fashion world as a writer and producer.
