Blogs are increasingly becoming an important media tool to reach out to audiences that share similar passions and interests.  While some blogs are entirely self-promoting or poorly-written drivel, there are blogs that carry clout with a loyal band of followers.  Take for example Tavi, the 13-year-old fashion blogger who now sits front row at fashion week. 

Celebrating bloggers of the fashion world, Independent Fashion Bloggers (IFB) is hosting a conference in the midst of Fashion Week, with speakers and panelists to discuss the ever-evolving media shifts in the fashion world and how bloggers can extrapolate their experiences, and a great networking opportunity for shared interest in fashion.  Registration is already closed, but do apply for the wait list as it is sure to be a monumental event!

Evolving Influence: Fashion Blog Conference

In 2009, fashion bloggers came under the media spotlight. Our readership has grown and our influence has expanded to the point where high-profile brands increasingly seek us out. We’ve expanded the possibilities of online conversation well beyond anyone’s imagination. So what next? How do we handle success?

IFB — with the help of American Express, G-Star RAW and ModCloth — is proud to present EVOLVING INFLUENCE, a conference for fashion bloggers to discuss where we go from here.
