Need your fix for the Rachel Zoe Project? Completely understand! Season 4 premieres on September 6!! Can’t wait! BUT, we got more than our fix when we had the fab opportunity to meet Rachel Zoe herself! It was ba-na-nas!!!
On Thursday, Rachel made a special appearance at Neiman Marcus (Fashion Island). What to ask the famed A-list stylist? We sat down with her and got some MAH-jor scoop (photo insert):
MC: How’s Skyler?
RZ: He’s great!
MC: Congrats on an amazing year!
RZ: Thanks!
MC: With your Fall Collection, what are your favorite pieces?
RZ: I love the sequined cardigan, tuxedo jumper, tuxedo, Bianca Top, Ginger Dress…I’m tied to all of the pieces! I wear the Hutton Jacket all of the time. I’m wearing this jacket from Resort (LOVE it!).

MC: What’s new with QVC?
RZ: That’s still going on. In September, we’ll have outerwear and accessories.
MC: So, Season 4 will feature a lot of exciting events, right?
RZ: Yes! With the baby and everything.
MC: It will be “bananas,” right? How many times do you hear that?! Any new Zoe-isms from the new season?
RZ: That’s funny! You know, I don’t realize that they become Zoe-isms until after the show!
MC: Which Fall trends are you looking forward to the most?
RZ: The suit, ensemble dressing and the tuxedo.
MC: What are your favorite makeup products?
RZ: Exude lipstick, Egyptian Magic, Nars blush in Orgasm, Tarte…I love a lot of products!
MC: What’s your fave TV show?
RZ: Since I don’t have a lot of time, I don’t watch much TV. But, when I do get the chance late at night, I watch re-runs of Friends and Will & Grace.
MC: What are some new projects coming? Not that you need more!
RZ: I’m working on another book, a jewelry collection for 2012, home goods, etc. (Looks like her empire is growing towards a whole lifestyle brand!)
MC: What else would you like readers to know about you?
RZ: I love to cook! I’m such a Mom!
At this point, her entire team joined the discussion! They explained how Rachel’s kitchen cupboards are stocked by each team member’s favorite treats. They told us how Rachel is so thoughtful with always trying to keep each of their favorite treats stocked! Looks like she’s a very gracious hostess, too (of course)!
MC: Rachel does this because she loves having you at her home all the time, right?! She wants you to stay!
RZ: Yes! So true! When my Dad asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I told him a hostess!
