Last night, Women On The Move and GL Homes put on a spectacular event called “Unveil Your Pink” at the Boca Raton Resort and Club. As the name suggests, the evening was dedicated to raising Breast Cancer Awareness and also raising money to support the South Florida Affiliate of Susan G. Komen For The Cure.
Founder of Women On The Move, Leslie Harris, planned the entire evening, which was hosted by Lisa Wu Hartwell from the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Tami Reed of Atlanta’s TV Show, Talking With Tami. Sponsors included M.A.C. Cosmetics, Bluefly, Barefoot Wine & Bubbly, Judith Ripka, and many more.
Leslie wore a flowing Jovani Couture piece, while Lisa looked gorgeous in a vintage floor-length hot pink shantung gown. Both gowns were provided by Hot Pink Styling of Deerfield Beach.
The casino-themed night was complete with roulette, craps, poker, and black jack tables and entertained all of the guests.
Each guest left with a fabulous swag bag filled with M.A.C. makeup, Soukenberi Body Products, gift certificates to Sleek Med Spa, and a credit to The Brazilian Court Hotel and Beach Club.
Women On The Move’s mission statement is “to create a positive, inspiring, and culturally diverse environment that encourages women to make it happen for themselves.” For more information on how to become involved with this organization, visit http://www.mywomenonthemove.com/.
