most popular is the raschel knitted lace. Laces are openwork fabrics made mostly from warp knitting, and patterning control sewing machines, called Multi-bar Raschel (or tricot) machines. This name, raschel knitted lace, comes from Elisabeth Raschel Felix, who was a French actress in the mid-19th century. She was always in style and became a fashion vision in the eyes of her followers. Whatever Felix wore immediately became an instant fashion trend that all of France had to have. Her favorite thing to wear were all sorts of laces, whether it be a lace scarf or stole, she had it and soon after all of France was wearing it too. Her style was timeless, as we see today in so many things that we wear. Don’t forget your raschel knitted lace garments or accessories this fall and winter to complete that fabulous look and appear just like the timeless French actress, Elisabeth Raschel Felix!
