A recent phenomenon that seems to be taking over the women roaming the streets of Tucson is the event of the bangs. It appears the style to wear around town these days is a nice set of long, fashionable, bangs.
But, before you “gung ho” to a stylist, remember that bangs come in many shapes, sizes, lengths, and forms. Take in mind that the style of bangs that is currently “in style” is the long bangs, thick (but not too thick), with two side pieces of hair that help round the face. In a simpler term, layers!
Though many women have recently been bringing back the bangs, keep in mind a few tips to help your bangs look fashionable, up to date, and elegant. First off, the bangs can be worn with short hair, but are easier to pull off with longer hair, and let’s not forget our long layers! If you have short hair, don’t fret, this hair style can still be accomplished! Second, the bangs must be long; they must reach the tips of your eye lashes. Thirdly, the bangs have to be cut and thickened just the right amount. And fourthly, once your bangs are cut and thickened the perfect length, to style them a blow dryer with a round brush can be used, but a better choice would be a curling iron. The bangs should not poof out a lot!
Some perfect examples of how thick or thin the bangs should be that have been shown on our loveable celebrates are: Kate Hudson in, “Bride Wars” and Anne Hathaway in, “The Devil Wears Prada.” So, if you’re really “gung ho” and ready to schedule your hair cut, a nice picture of one of these fine ladies would be great in aiding your stylist! Note: When being fashionable, good hair cut places to go are the ones that are up to date with the fashion world, and these places are the ones you should go to! Though they are a bit pricier than a plain old’ hair cut place such as, “Super Cuts;” it is well worth the extra cash! Good places are: Gadabout, Toni&Guy, Regis, and Aveda. Remember, it is always better to spend a little extra money then get a horrid hairstyle that will be stuck on you for months! Besides, what’s the harm in treating yourself from time to time!
Lastly, a tip that will aid you in your new bang adventure is: If your bangs always seem to be getting in your eyes because the length is too low, as that’s the style to be wearing them right now, wear a set of real looking, not over the top, fake eye lashes. This will help a lot in keeping your frustration level down!
Now it’s definitely time to make that appointment and refresh your old look! And business woman, this is an absolutely fabulous look for you!

First of all I admire your enthusiasm on the subject at hand. However, I must disagree with your acute yet humble outlook that bangs can only be worn as eyelash length and curled. To avoid that outdated 1996 style, a woman must not only take into consideration the length of the bang, but of course her own uniquely shaped face. Such as the blunt brow leveled bangs seen on Emanuela de Paula in the 2009 Gucci editorial promotion. For example, with your face shape and bone structure the most flattering effect is long, feathery bangs that curve into your face to minimize your full cheeks and add contour to your features. I would also suggest to your readers that in these economically challenged times, that while it is important for a woman to pamper herself on occasion, it is perfectly acceptable to perhaps pamper your budget and visit a Supercuts. For although the stylists may not be as highly ranked, remember honey, it's your dollar that buys the name not the cut. Good luck, Gwyn.
I believe you missed the point of this article Gwyn'eth, it is about the bangs that are in style right now, not about which kind of bangs fit your face shape, because i have seen girls wearing these bangs even though they have the wrong check structure. i believe everyone is entitled to their opinion but instead of tryin to plug supercuts maybe you should see what the article is truely about and see that the enthusiasm behind this article is because claire is a fantastic writer and i think you should read some more of her articles and get a style for yourself from her advice. As far as you Claire, continue writing and we will continue to read, i don't miss an article, and i am engulfed in every word and detail, you are the best. If i had one word to describe you it would be jamtastic! People that are good at what they do don't feel the economical crunch and can afford to pamper themselves, keep looking good claire ;-)
I also recommend the Tucson salon, "Jabez." I have gotten some great styles from the owner, Bennette Martinez. WAY better than Gadabout, and priced comparably.
