Across the city from Pike Place Market, a new farmers market, Cascade Farmers Market opens Thursday, June 25 in the South Lake Union neighborhood.
The Cascade Farmers Market will be located on Pontius Avenue between Thomas and Harrison Streets, next to Cascade Park. The market will be held each Thursday June 25 - Sept 24 from 3-7 p.m..
The market will feature many vendors, as well as chefs for cooking demonstrations, musicians, and other performers.
The Cascade Market was developed in partnership with Pike Place Market, along with city and community organizations and civic groups, to bring the market to the neighborhood.

The Pike Place Market website says the farmers market is from 3 to 7.
Thanks for the heads up, Erica. My source info does say 4-8, but I see currenlty that both the South Lake Union blog and Pike Place Market website say 3-7. I am verifying with South Lake Union and suspect it is, indeed, 3-7 and not 4-8.
