Surveys can reveal interesting things
At AFRA, we publish survey results often.
Politicians and business follow opinion trends very closely. The difference there is when business see a decline in favorable attitudes toward their product or service, they are wise to fix the problem.
Of course, politicians SPIN and DENY the polls (if they are unfavorable)
I would love to do a survey of CPS employees- A really honest, informal one where they had total anonymity and could freely say what they REALLY think.
My poll questions would go like this-
Why did you become a CPS employee? (Multiple choices allowed. Check as many as you FEEL like)
I am lazy and it looked like an easy job
I was otherwise unemployable and the job was open.
I have no skills and a rotten personality.
I was abused (or think I was) as a child and I am out for payback.
I really care about families and want to help them.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Joining the New Class strata.
I am a pedophile and it's the place to score without getting caught
I enjoy the POWER and scaring the living hell out of people.
I am a pathological liar and my advanced skills are highly useful here.
I am Schizophrenic and I fit in PERFECTLY here.
I am a communist and I am doing my job of bringing "Abolition of the family!"

Occasionally actually helping families, if I can sneak it past Administration..
What do you HATE about your job?
Having to even deal with inferior low-life scum.

I would eliminate the court entirely and just shoot the parents.
I would take ALL kids away at birth and make the parents become MSW's
and join the Democrat Party before they got temporary custody back.
I would implement one of the highly recommended systems for reforming CPS
into an actual HELP agency for families.

I think your questions are slanted one way and you have an extremely strong biased opinion against the CPS and the caseworkers, state and county employees.
However those are the same kind of questions I would ask due to my experience with the Department of Social Services and the way they handle most families.

Have been there and done that, seeing what a nasty bunch of bed-wetting morons and fascists they are was HIGHLY educational.

Leonard I have to say that yes I would LOVE to see what they would answer! As for being biased, until you go through something like this, you think we are living in a free society. Once you have been involved with this corrupt government- you will feel the same way! They are only in it for the money-rip kids away from their loving parents to put them with complete strangers to be abused or even killed! Been there, still there, and fighting like hell to get our son out of being harmed and back home wiht us where he belongs. The brainwashing that is done to these children is absurd. The fact that complete strangers tell them over and over that their parents dont love them is in my book a fate worse than death!
I have been there and looked to the internet for info but at the time there was limited info or people that wanted to sell me their book. then I found AFRA and it was free info. someone even wanted me to pay thousands for their help... plane tickets (first class) and must stay in a extended stay hotel (top dollar room) it was cheaper to hire a good Attorney than an advocate from that funky group of NUTZ.... I won and got my Children back.
It has been my experience dealing with the family courts and cps workers or fip (Family Integrity Workers) that in general they can not spell; rewrite documents so many times by so many people that it all more resembles that little game your first grade teacher played, you know the one... "we are going to start a story at one end of the class and each one of you will whisper it into the next person's ear... at the end of the day... we'll have the last person to hear the story come up and tell the whole class.. then I'll read you the story the way I told it to the first person. (Of course the story was told to a few ex-spouses & their relatives, a few folks that need to hate somebody just because it's their job, or they are MENTAL ANYWAY THEMSELVES... never mind the fact that some of them were probably budding sociopaths and/or some money may have changed hands along the way, add in a few publicly corrupt politicians and next thing you know the space ship has landed" DRGN4U.

that crazzy woman even wanted me to pay to take a class from her.. and fly to fla. to take it. what a nutz job.... her web site even boasted that she was the only one that could help and she told me that no attorney would get my kids back without her help that I needed to hire her..... shell was the name of the woman I talked to my wife says.

Hey Leonard, I too would LOVE to see the results of such a survey!
But on a good note we (Hubby and I) get to have our day in court on Tuesday! Praying that our past and the letters that our lawyer has refused to give to him will help to send our lil one home. I am taking a huge chance in telling the truth, the WHOLE truth, and nothing but the truth. So wish us luck, and some how get that survey out!

Don't imagine that you are going to walk into court and "present" your papers to the judge. The judge is highly unlikely to "accept" them.
FILE THEM with the court clerk ON THE RECORD. Make her time stamp them, get Certified Copies, so nobody can claim they got "lost".
That's the way they operate.

Leonard, Me and my wife both agree that this is an excellent Survey and that you should send it to every caseworker at every child protection agency the world over, I for one would love to see the results!
I think this is a great survey, but I also think you should do a survey on the Judges and County Attorneys that make decisions on these cases. There are some districts in KY that are corrupt in all the way from the CPS to the District Judges that there is no way in hell that a family can win. The only way to get rid of these people as far as Judges and County Attorneys is to vote them out of office and hope the one you vote in is better

The corruption in the legal system is PANDEMIC.
Just ask one of these "judges"- "Am I in a court of Constitutional Due Process?"
They won't answer you. They will say "You are in such and such court". Just keep asking the same question "Is such and such court a court of Constitutional Due Process?"
If the judge slips up, then NAIL HIM. "Then I DEMAND MY CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS!"
But he's not likely to "slip up". He will just look at you with utter disgust and hatred.

While I have dealt with some CPS agents who are the epitome of absolute evil, I have also dealt with some who are the complete opposite.
There is a whole spectrum of personality types that choose this line of work. Not all are bad, but not all are good, either.
Kern i concur with you on that one! The last caseworker we had was evil, immoral, cold hearted and corrupt, luckily we had her kicked to the curb. Now we have one that genuinely wants to help us, so you are right but its a turkey shoot!
About "good" CPS agents-
Yes, there are a few who actually are in it to HELP families.
Unfortunately, they don't last long. Either they BURN OUT, or administration makes their lives hell until they quit.
There has been some "experimenting" going on with actually helping families, but it's been sporadic. And it never "catches on".
The Culture of the Agency towards fascist and schizophrenic behavior is deeply entrenched.
"Child Welfare" has never been about CHILD WELFARE.
Additionally, making you believe they are there to "help" you is an old, OLD trick. Never, NEVER pour your heart out to one, no matter how much of a "pal" you might think she is.
Anything you tell her goes into the record. Maybe she's nice and wants to help. Her replacement will use those records to crucify you.
Trust any CPS agent at your own (and your children's) peril.
They are from the government, and they are NOT there to help you.

Here in Oregon several years ago, the HHS instituted the happy-sounding "No Wrong Doors" policy.
Yes indeed, all doors at HHS leads to CPS.
Apply for Food Stamps- CPS gets a referral.
Apply for Section 8 housing- CPS gets a referral.
Go to the unemployment office or Vocational Rehab- CPS gets a referral.
Apply for ANYTHING (If you have cute little kids)- CPS gets a referral.
