CPS came after my kids, The tricks they use are unconstitutional
It is the american way to steal our kids. I was lucky and won.
This is a nightmare that my kids and myself will never get over.
Len, your BEST ADVICE is to simply refuse, smilingly, to speak or engage with the CPS drones.
Who could respect, trust or look up to a young, inexperienced girl of a caseworker who has never been up at 3 AM with a croupy child or dressed a kid in the car in the morning?
CPS is a MAKE-WORK burecracy which makes life so much harder for families.
Just do not speak with these folks. And remember that in Connecticut, folks are organizing DCF FREE ZONES. They are so disgusted with the fact that DHS intrudes on so many * good-enough families* that folks are going door to door to exhort families not to cooperate with DCF in its witch hunts.
We refused to let them in, they came with the police and got a warrant. They are home now but still in their "custody". Their goal now is to medicate my youngest for ADHD.
We are fighting this every day.
I fully realize that a lot of times CPS does involve themselves into situations where it really isn't necessary and they are only there as a result of someone else reporting a parent because that parent stepped on their ego, or some such silly nonsense.
But not EVERY child should be returned home and not EVER CPS worker is out to get your kids. A person I know was allowed to keep her children, despite five different reports, outlining physical, mental, emotional, and verbal abuse. The mother in this case admitted to these allegations and agreed to a plan to eleminate her behavior. Despite CPS involvement, the parent continued the abuse and finally, after a year, the remaining children were removed. After the death of one child at the hands of this mother.
So, not EVERY child needs to be returned home. Once health care insurance reform is done, congress needs to work on reforming CPS to make sure the right kids are focused on and other families are not harassed.

I agree with you somewhat. The actual stats we have is-
One Child in Seventeen who were removed from their homes- SHOULD HAVE BEEN.
And yes, AFRA has Social Work friends who are trying to do GOOD in their jobs. Which is a rather hazardous thing to do within the agency culture of fascism.
We are dealing with a society that is degenerating back to the cave man. Public schools are working just as intended- now producing the third generation of ignorant, lazy, mean, self-centered, irresponsible, incompetent, helpless people to be consumers of government services.
Government isn't the solution. Government is the PROBLEM.

Can someone please help/advise.....CPS was called by our boys' school for my husband spanking our two boys 9 and 10 a bit too hard which left slight bruising (and I mean slight)for getting 4 "F's" each on their report card. CPS took my children because CSP said my kids said they were afraid to come home. They were afraid We would yell at them or whatever because we still have not read, seen or been given anything! We have not signed anything and kids are already living in their second foster home and it has been 5 days. Our hearing is tomorrow morning at 8:30 and frankly I don't know what to do other than to sob and beg the courts forgiveness. We are 45 years old and have never been in trouble in our lives! We are scared to death!

Hi, I have 5 children that just got romoved from my care cause I left my kids with my mom butshe left them alone to got to the store @ night then my daughter went looking for her so the cops took them away from me cause they thought I had left them home alon and since I had gone to a celebration on election night I had a a little to drink so they lable me as a alcoholic.... hey i have two kids and when had my boy my mom and my bother ex call dss to take my baby away and made up lies on me then i got him back he has a year old then my mom and her mom call made up more lies in 2005 then then i done everything they told me to do and i was care a other baby and they told me when i was 8 m that if dont sign my rights away they was going take baby a way from when she was born i did want thet told me to cause i was sick of going to court all the time wel i was in the hopst and my baby was all most two days old the y came and too her from and please help me i dont have no money
