play zone.

My family and I have discovered a great family indoor play area called Jump and Shout that could conceivably be one of the better kept secrets of the Mesa Riverview shopping area. Those of you who are familiar with BounceU might have an idea of what Jump and Shout is all about. It is an indoor playground filled with climbing mazes, slides, bouncing equipment, bubble blowing extravaganza's and a decently priced food menu. Despite it's growing popularity, I have rarely been there when it has been even close to overcrowded.

One of the features I appreciate the most is the "toddler zone" where they have small but soft foam blocks to play with, a smaller bounce feature and generally a "no big kids" rule. Strollers are welcome! Since I have children that vary in age from babies to 8 year olds, I really appreciate this distinction. I now can bring my small kids along with my big kids and we can all have a really great time together! Their "bubble time" is a hit with all ages and consists of fans that blow huge amounts of bubbles throughout the play area!

As a parent, I also appreciate their very comfortable "parents lounge" located in the center of the bounce area with a full view of nearly the entire playground layout. Kick back in their cushioned lounge chairs and watch your kids run themselves ragged as you sip a cold drink from the Bounce Café and dream of the blissful naps they will willingly take later!

I have hosted birthday parties here as well as playgroups and they have all been immensely successful! The price tag is what makes this place even more atractive. While most bounce zones have price tags of $7 and up for a limited bounce time (usually an hour or so) with a general rule of "no outside food or beverage", Jump and Shout offers pricing as low as $5 per child (if you come with a playgroup of 8 or more) for unlimited, all day bouncing fun! The ability to bring in your own food and drink or opt to purchase their reasonably priced food items is icing on the cake!  As I said before, the ability to have your kids of all ages safely entertained and exercised at a "not-gonna-break-the-bank" price makes this one of the best indoor play areas I've found yet...and with 115 degree weather, trust me...I've been looking!
