Lucinda Wiebe has considered herself a Pittsburgher since 1996 when she moved here from southern California with her husband who is a native of the region. She is enthusiastic about the high quality of life here, particularly the beauty of the city and the range of recreation opportunities. Lucinda enjoys blogging at WordPress as "The Middle-earth Foodie" and "Weebeebloggin." She is an avid photographer with an interest in nature and abstract topics, and her work has been on exhibit locally. Her professional experience includes work as an adoption and foster care family recruiter, an early childhood center director, volunteer manager, and as a minister of Christian Education in both Presbyterian and American Baptist congregations. She earned a certificate from CORO's Women in Leadership program, and holds a BA degree in Child Development from Oregon State University as well as the MA in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary.
