1st Bank Event Center held the Denver Roller Dolls Round Robin the evening of April 17th between the Denver Teams - Bad Apples, Green Barrettes and the Shotgun Betties.
An event watched by spectators young and old. Kids dressed in their favorite gear and some sporting pink toy shotguns to cheer on their favorite team.
As per their 2010 Season Program, "Roller derby is more than just a hard hitting sport, it's a place where women of all sizes, backgrounds and skill levels can compete in an intensely athletic and supportive environment."

Thanks for the review! Although my team the Green Barrettes didn't manage a win over the evening, we all had a great time and hope the fans did too!
Our next bout features our All-Star team, ranked 3rd Nationally, hosting the Texas Rollergirls All-Star team, ranked 2nd Nationally. That'll take place on May 8th. It will absolutely NOT be a bout to miss!
Tickets start at $15, and kids 12 and under are free.
