If you have little girls who are big fans of the "My Little Pony" Hasbro toy series of videos and online games, then this weekend you might want to take them to the Six Annual "My Little Pony Fair"
www.mylitleponyfair.com, being held in Las Vegas.
Hundreds of collectors will gather to showcase
thousands of collectible ponies and original designs. Classic collectible ponies such as the
Rainbow or
Unicorn ponies, two of Hasbro's
www.hasbro/mylittlepony/ original designs from the 1980's, will be on display. But, founder of the event, Jen Oakes, says "one of this year's highlights will be the unveiling of the new
Peacock Pony, which is being released by Hasbro for the first time." This latest pony model is Hasbro's newest design.
Other pony mementos that have helped make "My Little Pony" a top brand in little girl's hearts, will also be showcased.
The "2009 My Little Pony Fair Collectors Convention" takes place on Saturday, June 20th & Sunday, June 21st at the Orleans Hotel and Casino
www.oleanscasino.com/ (located at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue), near the Las Vegas strip. Doors open at 10:00 a.m. and the event runs until 6:00 p.m. on both days.
You'll find lots of "My Little Pony" information, workshops, a wide variety of activities like painting, raffles, auctions, other contests and the main attraction which is the selling and trading of items that these days are mostly found online.
This annual event brings collectors and fans of all ages together from all over the world, for a magical weekend of pony fun!
